Gingee Fort Swimmingpool Proposal

Located 160km southwest to the Chennai, the site has innate tourist attractions dilineating legendary history of Southern Tamil Nadu.To re-establish the outdated tourist hotspot, a cognitive addition of swimming pool is proposed, replacing the existing waterbody. Since the use of waterbody is reduced and to satisfy local need of entertainment, it is converted into pool.Carefully introducing new generation amusement design while not disturbing the existing heritage, the pool enhances the spatial experience of the fort, blending with the ancient grandeur of the structure.
